These Terms of Use govern all services provided by Socratic Path Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"), including the OutLoud software application and associated websites. By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Socratic Path Pte. Ltd. provides services to help users prepare for important conversations. OutLoud is our primary product — a mobile application designed to help you practise and build conversational confidence.
Users must be of the minimum age required to provide consent in their country. Minors must obtain parental or guardian permission before using the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Account credentials may not be shared with others.
You may access and use the Services in accordance with these Terms, provided that you comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The Services are for your personal, non-commercial use unless you have entered into a separate agreement with us.
You may not use the Services to:
You retain ownership of the content you provide as input to the Services. However, we do not assign any rights to you in any voice output generated by the Services. Output generated by the Services is provided for your personal practice use only.
Output generated by the Services may not accurately reflect real people, places, or facts. You should not rely on any output as your sole source of factual information. OutLoud is a practice tool, not a professional advisor.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or in connection with these Terms or the Services is capped at $100 USD. We exclude all liability for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or violate our policies. Accounts that have been inactive for more than one year may also be terminated.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
